Le Jardin Academy is looking for Extended Day Aides. As part of our Extended Day program, the role of Aide is to support the Extended Day Teacher with the development of our students, socially, and emotionally in alignment with a fun and safe recreational program during After school and Summer Programs. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00pm- 5:15pm/6:00pm. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Hourly pay: $16.00.

POSITION SUMMARYThe role of Extended Day Aide will support the LJA mission statement and implementation of the summer and/or after school programs, model the school-wide Agreements and the attributes of the IB Learner Profile, exhibit courteous behavior and a sense of professionalism at all times, and demonstrate an enjoyment of working with children.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the Extended Day Teacher with implementation of age appropriate lessons and recreational activities.
- Supports classroom management and established routines.
- Support student learning during after school.
- Supports with supervision of students during instructional time, recess, and transitions.
- Communicate effectively with the team.
- Communicates to appropriate persons student behavior.
- Follow all school policies and procedures detailed in the Employee Handbook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various classroom environments.
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- Cultural sensitivity and appreciation for diversity.
