Other Conditions:
For placement in the lecturer pool for Fall 2026 and future semesters, including day and/or evening courses, as well as outreach extension and summer courses. Appointments are contingent upon registration, position availability, course offerings, sufficient enrollment, availability of funds, and departmental need. Lecturer positions are part-time and non‑tenure‑track.
- Teach one or more courses within a range of topics, including:
- ACC
200 – Introduction to Accounting I - ACC
210 – Introduction to Accounting II - ACC
409 – Accounting Information Systems - ACC
413 – Law for the Accountant - ACC
415 – Advanced Financial Accounting - ACC
418 – Auditing
- ACC
- Conduct all scheduled classes; meet course requirements as established by the department/program;
- Prepare course syllabus;
- Grade;
- Maintain weekly office hours and be accessible to students.
- Master of Accounting, Master of Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting), Master of Laws, or Juris Doctor (with a concentration in Accounting)
- Proven ability to teach at the college/university level.
- Recent professional work experience relevant to the course, at a partner level in a national and/or significant accounting experience in a larger accounting firm.
- Evidence of teaching ability in one or more of the areas listed under teaching duties and responsibilities.
