Join the support team at PATCH People Attentive to Children in Honolulu, HI as an Oahu Early Learning Shared Services Specialist II. This role pays $45,780 – $47,580 per year and requires relevant professional experience.
The Early Learning Shared Services Specialist II will collaborate with local Child Care Resource & Referral agencies, recruiters, and child‑care management systems (CCMS) – ELV, Brightwheel, Procare – to promote and implement the Shared Services Model. The position serves as the primary contact for Family Child Providers (FCC) and centers, working closely with them to address their needs and concerns. Key responsibilities include conducting monthly learning communities, tracking attendance, and managing the use of services provided by CCMS.

What You’ll Do- Recruit and engage Family Child Providers and centers to join the Shared Services program.
- Partner with agencies to provide support and resources to Family Child Providers and centers.
- Present at training meetings and events to promote the Shared Services Model.
- Create and distribute promotional materials to raise awareness about the Shared Services Model.
- Maintain the group website and coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Provide training and support to Family Child Providers and centers on the use of various platforms.
- Host monthly learning communities to promote networking and collaboration among participants.
- Compile and submit quarterly reports to stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Combination of office environment and outdoor/travel required.
Work HoursTypical hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; duties may require evening or weekend hours.
Equipment UseComputer and standard office equipment.
RequirementsMental, physical, and communication demands: requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer and typing ability, close attention to detail, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualification Requirements- High level of interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential client information and situations.
- Understanding of the Child Care landscape in Hawaii.
- Knowledge of DHS Licensing Rules & Regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Access to high‑speed internet.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or 5 years of experience working in ECE.
- Experience with program management.
- Advanced computer software experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of database applications.
