For lecturer applicant pool. Non-tenurial, pending availability of funds, and actual staffing requirements. This includes Early College Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in the Discipline and/or Interdisciplinary Studies.
• Maintain minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
• Prepare course syllabus and reports related to teaching and student progress.
• Work under supervision of department chairperson in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.
• Duties and responsibilities may include work with multi-media presentations and distance education instruction.

• As listed below. All minimum qualifications must be from institutions accredited by recognized US accrediting agencies and met by the effective date of appointment. HAWAIIAN STUDIES: (a) Master's in Hawaiian Studies or (b) Master's Degree in Hawaiian language with at least 9 credits of advanced and/or graduate level coursework focused on Native Hawaiian areas or (c) Bachelor's Degree in Hawaiian Studies, and 3 (three) years of related work experience or (d) Master's Degree with at least 15 credits of advanced and/or graduate level coursework or research topic focused on Native Hawaiian areas, or (e) Master recognition in a specific area of Hawaiian knowledge as recognized by the Hawaiian community in that area and 10 (ten) years of related work experience.

• Teaching experience at community college level.
• Demonstrated ability to work with adult learners.
• Familiarity with competency-based instruction and behavioral objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience in curriculum development.
