For lecturer applicant pool. Part-Time, Non-tenurial, pending availability of funds, and actual staffing requirements. This includes Early College.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in the discipline and/or Interdisciplinary Studies
• Maintain minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
• Prepare course syllabus and reports related to teaching and student progress.
• Work under supervision of department chairperson in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.
• Duties and responsibilities may include work with multi-media presentations and distance education instruction.

Minimum Qualifications

• As listed, all minimum qualifications must be from institutions accredited by recognized US agencies and met by the effective date of appointment. ACCOUNTING (transfer and non-transfer courses): (a) Master's in Accounting (Macc); or (b) Master's in Business Administration (MBA) including 18 credits in Accounting (undergraduate and/or graduate – 300 level or higher); or (c) Bachelor's in Accounting and three (3) years related work experience in accounting;
  
  or (d) Bachelor's in related fields such as Business Administration (in areas other than Accounting) including 18 credits Accounting (undergraduate and/or graduate – 300 level or higher) and five (5) years related work experience work experience in accounting; or (e) Bachelor's in any field and CPA/CMA or equivalent professional accounting certification (in the USA).

Desirable Qualifications

• Teaching experience at community college level.
• Demonstrated ability to work with adult learners.
• Familiarity with competency-based instruction and behavioral objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience in curriculum development.
