Expected to begin approximately September 2026 or as mutually acceptable, pending position clearance, availability of funds, satisfactory performance and program needs. Position may be converted from 11-month to 9-month or 9-month to 11-month as operational needs are required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the comprehensive management of the off-campus job database, including employer verification, system maintenance, stakeholder correspondence, and data reporting.

Develop and sustain employer relationships for all campus employment related program and initiatives.

Educate and train students, alumni, and employers in the usage of the various off-campus employment databases.

Coordinate off-campus employer recruitment activities, including classroom presentations, information sessions, and high-traffic campus employer on the mall events.

Responsible for the coordination of bi-annual career/job fairs.

Collaborate with academic programs to develop and embed comprehensive career exploration and job readiness components into the curriculum, ensuring students and graduates are workforce-ready through workshops, presentations, and career-focused projects.

Create and design informative and instructional materials for classes, presentations and/or workshops for both in-person and online student learners.

Develop programs, services, and curriculum to aid in the development of appropriate employability skills that support CTE and Liberal Arts students.

Design and facilitate career exploration and confirmation activities tailored to first year and pre-major students.

Deliver comprehensive job preparation training to individuals and groups, covering critical areas such as resume writing, mock interviewing, employment research, and professional workplace expectations

Administer and interpret career assessments to help students identify their strengths and goals (one on one and in group settings).

Provide instruction for career courses as needed.

Serve as the lead representative for all consortium meetings, including but not limited to the Career Counseling Consortium and Job Prep Off-Campus Employment Consortium.

Research, collect, and analyze data to assist in the preparation of administrative reports, program evaluations, and operational effectiveness assessments. Assist in monitoring and ensuring that all pertinent data is collected and submitted in a timely manner

Must be available for evening, weekend, and off-campus assignments (e.g., military bases.) To teach on a military base, Department of Defense security clearance will be required.

Performs other related tasks as assigned. Related work activities include, but are not limited to, assisting in campus-related student activities; participating in faculty/administrative committees, community service, and in-service training; maintaining an approved program of professional self-improvement, collecting data and preparing reports, preparing/adapting/revising course objectives; independently planning, organizing, and carrying out instructional and non-instructional assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance, Counseling Psychology, College Student Personnel Services, Human Resources (to include both CTAHR and Personnel), Communications or related field; OR

Bachelor's degree in Counseling and Guidance, Counseling Psychology, College Student Personnel Services, Human Resources (to include both CTAHR and Personnel), Communications or related field and 3 years counseling and/or academic advising work experience.

Related fields include:
Education (to include all degrees in this field), Family Resources, Human Development, Psychology (to include all degrees in this field), Public Health, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Sociology or Student Services Personnel.
