For placement in lecturer pool for AY . Contingent upon student enrollment, position availability, course offerings, departmental need, and funding. Lecturer positions are part-time, non-tenure. Lecturers are required to reside in and teach from Hawaii.
To teach one or more courses within a range of topics that include, depending on the qualifications of lecturers:
- NREM 203 – Applied Calculus for Management, Life Sciences, and Human Resources
- NREM 220 – Agricultural and Resource Economics
- NREM 301 – Natural Resources Management
- NREM 302 – Natural Resource and Environmental Policy
- NREM 304/L – Fundamentals of Soil Science/Laboratory
- NREM 310 – Statistics in Agriculture and Human Resources
- NREM 477 – Geographic Information Systems for Resource Managers
- NREM 492 – Internship Experience
- NREM 494 – Environmental Problem Solving
