Contracts Assistant - Oahu

Position Details

Recruitment Number 24-0303.

The immediate vacancies are with the Department of Transportation, Airports Division at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Salary: $3,900 to $4,933 per month (SR-13, Step C to I).

Draft non-engineering contracts and specifications; provide services in the preparation and processing of contracts; assist in drafting engineering contracts and specifications; perform other duties as required.

• Legal Authorization to work in the United States: citizenship, nationality, or permanent residency.
• Basic Experience/
  
  Education:
  
  graduation from high school or equivalent; or work experience that demonstrates the ability to read, comprehend and apply written directions or a high degree of verbal skill, with continuous participation.
• Specialized
  
  Experience:
  
  three (3) years of responsible experience in preparing or processing contracts, specifications and related legal instruments or notices requiring knowledge and application of pertinent laws, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge and application of specification writing, drafting of contracts and legal notices, contract letting including bid advertisement, instructions to bidders, proposals, contract and bond forms.
