Job DescriptionCome work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers’ Honolulu office. We are seeking a Civil Engineer with five to ten years of experience in water and wastewater resources to assist in planning and design of municipal civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a solid foundational understanding of planning and design relating to water and wastewater systems and is prepared to work on a wide range of projects in a collaborative, problem‑solving team environment.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking, and fun‑loving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent
- Hawaii Civil Engineer (P.E.) registration required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a water resources/municipal background
- Experience collaborating with local AEC community
- Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred but not required
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other design software
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required
- Ability to work on multiple tasks independently and/or under supervision of senior staff
- Strong project management and client management skills required
- Team player with the ability to think critically and solve problems
- Experience with water resources planning and design strongly preferred
Expected annual salary: $90,000 - $120,000.
