Corrosion Control Technician Under Instruction (U/I) (Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E)) – Hawaii
RequiredEducation and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience.
- AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level
2).
- Approximately five (5) years of experience in the corrosion control field supporting U.S. Navy ship and submarine maintenance.
- Experience with processes and requirements as they pertain to shipboard organizational level corrosion control maintenance of HM&E systems and ship structure.
- Experience with surface preparation tools, corrosion control techniques, coating system application tools, and coating systems used on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
- Experience with new corrosion control technologies and how they may be implemented on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
- Must currently hold and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

CompensationHourly range: $32.97 – $49.45. This range represents the standard pay for this role and is one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
