This is a full-time, on-site role based in Honolulu, HI, for a Project Engineer at Adon Renewables. The primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and overseeing energy solutions such as solar microgrids, energy storage systems, and energy management systems. The Project Engineer will manage project timelines, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, assess technical requirements, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Additional responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing energy system optimization efforts.
- Strong knowledge in Renewable Energy Systems, Solar Microgrids, Energy Storage Systems, and Energy Management Systems
- Proficiency in Technical Design, Engineering, and Project Management
- Experience with Electrical Systems, DC Technology, and Solar PV Solutions
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in technical documentation and understanding project regulatory compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with applicable software tools such as AutoCAD and energy modeling programs
- Previous experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus
