Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) seeks a Senior AV/VTC Engineer to evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, maintain, operate, remove, upgrade, and modify video teleconferencing equipment systems for a DoD organization.

• Serve as team lead for onsite engineering personnel and customer liaison
• Provide life cycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure and AV equipment build‑out
• Support AV Engineering team in providing video‑teleconferencing services
• Conduct site surveys to establish AV/VTC systems and equipment requirements
• Provide on‑site support primarily at customer sites, with occasional alternate or satellite site support and travel
• Resolve system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault repair, replacement, or reprogramming of equipment
• Perform setups, tests, adjustments, operations, and shutdowns of equipment in support of AV/VTC sessions
• Consult and train clients on control interfaces and use of audio/visual and VTC equipment
• Act as equipment custodian and maintain inventory asset management and accountability
• Generate and comply with customer organization and contractual recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements; produce non‑recurring and special reports
• Develop and implement metrics capture processes, quality control, and assurance procedures
• Demonstrate proficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail on assigned duties
• Complete annual company and customer training requirements
• Record labor hours daily

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (BA/BS in information technology preferred)
• 6+ years of current experience designing, installing, and configuring enterprise desktop VTC deployments
• Senior experience configuring, maintaining, and sustaining Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Cisco UC/VTC technologies
• COMPTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification required; knowledge or experience with AMX, Crestron, or Extron control systems
• TS/SCI clearance required with SCI eligibility

• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to UC technologies
• Understand DoD DIA TTPs, DISA VTC requirements, and related standards
• Resolve basic and advanced troubleshooting on Cisco UC technologies
• Understand AV/VTC sessions, call managers, scheduling, and services for executive users
• Operate in DoD classified and unclassified environments; use KIV‑7 encryption keys for ISDN/IP classified connectivity
• Knowledge of IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, TCP/IP, QoS, ISDN, Firewall Traversal, SIP, H.323, video standards, and STIG processes
• Working knowledge of SIP, ISM, H232, H320, H460, TLS, RTP, SRTP, TCP/IP, UDP, video compression, packet analyzers, routing protocols, and vendor technologies (Tandberg, Polycom, Cisco)
• Full working knowledge of commercial construction methods: ceiling deck, wall framing, electrical wiring, cable/fiber installation
• Familiar with AR 25‑1 and DoD PAM 25‑91
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Meeting Server operations
• Experience with multi‑security classified and unclassified IP VTC presentations
• Senior experience with LAN/WAN, and TIA cabling standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP network routing and switching
• Experience with programming languages (C+, C++, C#, Visual Basic, HTML)
• Experience with audio DSPs, wireless technologies
• Knowledge of DITSCAP/8500.2 IA controls and PKI desired
• Strong communication, multitasking, prioritization, integrity, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 10%
