Structural CAD Designer

Job Description

Come work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers’ Honolulu location. Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Designer to join our team in applying engineering and drafting skills to successfully develop design packages for a variety of diverse and challenging projects.

Responsibilities will shift back and forth between detailed structural drafting design, and serving as overall project CAD lead as well as conducting field investigations for various tasks such as verification of as-built conditions. This requires the ability to develop drawings in conformance with project specifications, client CAD standards, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices and possible travel to various office or project locations.

When serving in either capacity, your work will be focused on delivering complete and accurate design packages to clients.

• Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in AutoCAD and 3D software (Revit preferred) for Architectural or Structural design projects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Self-motivated and willing to attend software training sessions for professional development.

Expected annual salary of $64,000 - $80,000.
