Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Office Engineer to join our Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI

The HART City Center Guideway and Stations project is a $1.66 billion contract that includes the design and construction of six rail stations and about three miles of elevated rail guideway. The design is expected to begin immediately, and construction is estimated to commence in the second half of 2025, with substantial completion by 2030.

• Coordinate with subcontractors on advanced material acquisitions and pre‑construction deliverables
• Develop and assist with obtaining quotes and draft contracts to meet project requirements
• Prepare, update, and distribute work activity schedules/updates and communicate across discipline groups and agencies to ensure proper advance notifications and coordination of start times
• Assist with subcontract administration and permanent material suppliers through monitoring of correspondence, submittals, RFIs, and performance records; maintain accurate payment records
• Assist in preparing monthly reporting for progress payments, schedule updates, and problem/issue tracking and resolution; provide accurate and factual assessments of project performance

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or similar, from an accredited institution
• 3 or more years of construction experience
• Experience calculating quantities and performing takeoffs
• Project controls techniques (cost accounting, basic estimating, forecasting, and contracts)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in structural analysis preferred
