Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with zero to five years of experience to assist in the planning and design of municipal civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on water resources (water and wastewater). The ideal candidate has a solid foundational understanding of water and wastewater systems (either through college coursework or design experience) and is prepared to work on a wide range of projects in a collaborative, problem‑solving team environment.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, have a desire to work hard, and to have fun.
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent
- 0-5 years of experience in civil municipal design with a water resources/municipal background
- Has successfully passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or have the ability to pass within 6 months of hire
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- The ability to work on multiple tasks under the supervision of senior staff
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The motivation to learn the latest technologies and practices to enhance your professional career
- Experience and interest in water resources is preferred
Expected annual salary of $67,000 - $90,000.
