Job SummaryRole: Professional – Joint Use Asset Manager Number of Vacancies: 1 Location: Honolulu – Oahu Hiring Range: $99,900.00 to $ (salary adjusted to skills and qualifications)
Responsibilities- Provide engineering and technical leadership for management of pole attachment and colocation assets, ensuring compliance, safety, and technical soundness.
- Coordinate engineering reviews and initiatives that support safe, reliable infrastructure utilization, including development of tools, standards, and processes.
- Serve as the internal technical point of contact for attachment requests, provide status updates, and manage relationships with external third‑party carriers.
- Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and other divisions to identify assets for colocation, support FCC, regulatory, and contractual compliance, and manage data systems and customer information.
- Lead engineering‑related change initiatives, including project coordination, procurement of services, and management of external consultants.
- Provide engineering support on unresolved violations and compliance issues, working with leadership to resolve non‑compliance and unauthorized attachments.
- Participate in company emergency response activities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Structural, or related). Professional engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Thorough knowledge of wireless and wireline third‑party attachment processes, macro antenna colocation business model, and project management principles.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, FCC regulations, and pole loading calculations.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
- Knowledge of LEAN continuous improvement, Safe Start principles, and Change Management/ADKAR principles.
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and conceptual skills for managing multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly to non‑engineering stakeholders.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, creative problem‑solving, and flexible adaptation to changing priorities.
- Must have or be able to qualify for a State of Hawaii driver’s license; must be willing to travel as required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management and electric utility operations.
- Minimum 5 years of project management and public speaking experience.
- 3–5 years of contract and contractor management experience.
