Civil Engineer – Waste Water Treatment

Position based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Open to qualified applicants within the State of Hawaii.

• Lead or support design tasks.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents in compliance with state and local standards.
• Participate in the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, including subconsultants and internal design groups (structural, electrical, geotechnical).
• Provide support during construction phases, including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI responses.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and permitting agencies to support project delivery.
• Contribute to project management activities, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking under the direction of senior staff.
• Assist in mentoring junior engineers and supporting their technical development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably with a focus on water or waste water treatment projects or equivalent experience and/or education.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Familiarity with construction administration and QA/QC procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and site visits.

• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in Honolulu.
• Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.

$80,000 per year.
