Overview:

TEKsystems is seeking a UC Administrator and UC Engineer to support a long‑term contract at Ford Island. These individuals will resolve any UC issues that arise and execute on new installs and projects to ensure communication services remain online.

• BS and 4‑8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2‑6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active DoD 8750 certification at IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Active Secret security clearance.

• Experience with one or more Cisco, Avaya, or Oracle voice platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC), and Avaya Aura Application Server.
• Expertise in SIP internetworking signaling and call flow.
• Proven ability to conduct advanced fault analysis to isolate and diagnose network problems affecting routing, switching, security, and large‑scale voice implementations.
• Working knowledge of Secure Real‑Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) including G.711 and G.729 codecs and Digital Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF).
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager or Avaya Aura soft switches.
• Experience with Oracle SBCs and other voice media gateway appliances.
• Experience supporting distributed firewall infrastructure.
• Experience creating/supporting IPSec MPLS VPN infrastructure.
• Experience implementing and supporting BGP routing protocols.

• Platforms:
  Voice‑over‑IP experience; call manager experience is a plus.
• Ribbon communications / Oracle SBCs are the primary focus of this position;
  Ribbon is a secure cloud provider recently implemented in this environment.
• SIP protocol experience.
• Standard networking (IP, routing & switching, virtualization – VMware, firewalls – primarily Cisco ASA).
