Responsibilities- Follow safe practices and comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Operate or assist in operating heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigerating machines, air conditioning units, fans, and siphons on the site assigned.
- Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.
- Work with internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.
- Work in various engineering departments based on current needs.
- Provide supervision and engineering support for building systems, maintenance programs, and daily operational engineering in Class A or High Rise buildings.
- Be well-versed in HVAC, Chiller, HHW Boilers, Central Plant Operations, equipment and systems.
- Proficient with CMMS Software and reporting.
- Understand, analyze, and seek solutions for design, operation, maintenance, performance or repair of vehicles/equipment and components.
- Apply logical problem solving, define maintenance programs, and ensure safety and legal operation.
- Review Service Bulletins from manufacturers.
- Develop solutions, implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and manage project implementation; coordinate warranty recovery on applicable SBs.
- Organize and manage priorities for assigned responsibilities to meet deliverables for projects and maintenance program changes and technical specification revisions.
- Coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and efficiency.
- 5-7 years of engineering experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Engineering skill sets applicable to a range of systems and maintenance programs.
- For service engineering positions, apply technical skills to operational issues rather than project-specific work.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and manage projects for regulatory compliance modifications.
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
