Summary
The Engineer I performs routine professional engineering work requiring the application of basic engineering principles and techniques, according to specific instructions and following well-established practices; and performs other related duties as assigned. The Engineer II performs specific and limited professional engineering assignments requiring application of standard professional methods and techniques, which may involve minor phases of a broad project; and performs other related duties as assigned.
The Engineer III performs moderately difficult professional engineering work in the planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation and/or evaluation of engineering projects or facilities or assists higher-level engineers on more complex projects; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Legal Authorization to Work:

Education:
A bachelor's degree from a school of engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Relevant substitutions as described in the complete Minimum Qualification Requirements (see link below), will apply. Engineering
Experience:
None required for Level I; and One (1) year for the Level II; and Two (2) years for the Level III of progressively responsible professional engineering experience which required the knowledge and application of the basic physical and mathematical sciences and the engineering sciences to the solution of theoretical or practical engineering problems. - Federal Criminal History Records Check:
In accordance with Federal regulations, persons who are being considered for employment in positions which require unescorted access to secured areas at the airport must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check. In order to be granted the SIDA clearance, prospective employees must not have been convicted, or found "not guilty by reason of insanity," of a disqualifying criminal offense within ten years from the date of the application.
Upon recommendation for hire, prospective employees will be required to successfully undergo the fingerprint-based criminal history record check and be found free of disqualifying convictions during the preceding ten years.
