Ship Safety Specialist

Job Title

The duties of this position include:

Executing the Ships Safety Program on projects and ensuring the safe execution of nuclear and non-nuclear work.

Assisting with managing the assigned area of responsibilities of the project, including planning, engineering, production, and testing.

Conducting daily tours of the hull and ensuring all Fire Zone Boundaries, topside, and escape hatches are operational and checked.

Overseeing casualty response drills.

Providing recommendations to the Project Management team in the areas of Industrial Ship and Fire Safety.

Controlling the ships conditions at the working level in the Shipyard and Off-Station.

Maintaining safety program goals and actions to achieve the goals in regard to ship safety.
