Bishop & Company is recruiting for a Scheduler to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on O'ahu. This long-term contract opportunity will play a critical role in maintaining and managing construction project schedules for military construction and repair programs throughout Hawai'i. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using Primavera P6 to develop, update, and analyze resource-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and will thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Candidates must reside on O'ahu by the time of hire. Relocation assistance is not available.
- Develop, input, maintain, and update resource-loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6
- Monitor project schedules and analyze critical path activities, schedule impacts, and opportunities
- Perform resource loading, resource analysis, and schedule forecasting
- Support project teams with scheduling guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices
- Generate schedule reports, progress updates, and project performance metrics
- Utilize dashboards and reporting tools to identify and resolve schedule data quality issues
- Review and validate scheduling information with project teams and stakeholders
- Update schedules to reflect scope changes and project progress
- Participate in project meetings and present schedule updates and reports
- Establish effective working relationships with project managers, engineers, and Government stakeholders
- Support schedule management processes aligned with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Minimum three (3) years of experience managing and updating resource-loaded CPM schedules using Primavera P6
- Experience performing Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule analysis
- Resource loading and resource analysis
- Schedule monitoring and reporting
- Progress updates and schedule forecasting
- Experience generating reports and dashboards within Primavera P6
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Point
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Proficiency with Power BI
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, military construction (MILCON), or capital improvement projects
- Familiarity with USACE, Department of Defense (DoD), or other Federal project environments
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and project controls
- Knowledge of PROMIS, CEFMS, RMS, or similar Government project management systems
Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $75K-$95K.
