The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM), Storm Water Quality Division, is recruiting for four Civil Engineer III positions at Kapolei Hale. The Department of Environmental Services (ENV), is recruiting for two Civil Engineer III positions in the Office of Administrative Support Division, and the Wastewater Engineering & Construction Division. The Department of Design and Construction (DDC) is recruiting for one Civil Engineer III position in the Civil Division and one position in the Facilities Division.

For the Department of Facility Maintenance:

• Assist with professional engineering projects related to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Storm Water Management Program.
• Plan, design, construction management, product evaluation, research & development, system optimization, database management, and Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping.
• May participate in periodic cross training and supplementary work activities within the division to comply with regulatory obligations.

For the Department of Environmental Services:

• Perform routine to moderately complex professional engineering work under general supervision
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct all technical and administrative activities of simple projects assigned
• Assist higher level engineers on more complex projects and tasks

For the Department of Design and Construction:

• Perform professional engineering work under general supervision including contract administration and compliance oversight for various facets of construction projects
• Plan, organize, and manage assigned Capital Improvement Program (CIP) funded projects
• Assist higher level engineers on more complex projects and tasks

Salaries for positions at the Department of Facility Maintenance are commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval: $6,721 to $7,533 per month. Salaries for the positions at the Department of Environmental Services, Office of Administrative Support and Wastewater Engineering & Construction Divisions, are commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval: $6,721 to $7,752 per month. Salary for the position at the Department of Design and Construction, Civil Division, commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval: $6,721 to $7,321 per month.

Salary for the position at the Department of Design and Construction, Facilities Division, is commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval: $6,721 to $7,533 per month.
