Duties
You will assist the Project Engineer in efficient management and resolution pertaining to non-nuclear overhaul procedures in support of waterfront availabilities, to include preparation, issue, and execution of technical work documents.
You will continuously and constantly improve work processes and utilize manpower and material resources effectively and efficiently.
You will be able to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents for complex nuclear and non-nuclear ship class systems and alterations.
You will assist the Project Engineer with administering and providing technical guidance for Project Field Engineering duties, conducting final reviews, and providing leadership for the department's support of shipyard waterfront availabilities.
You will provide liaison/coordination with the Engineering Branch personnel, Engineering Division supervisory personnel, and other shops/codes within the shipyard.
You will assist with preparing and delegating Engineering Division non-nuclear and nuclear interface work to cognizant technical codes.
