Engineering Project Manager Manufacturing Engineering Salary: $135,000 - $160,000 annually + benefits Bishop & Company is recruiting on behalf of a confidential Hawaii-based manufacturing organization seeking a Engineer Project Manager to lead a multimillion-dollar portfolio of capital projects across manufacturing, automation, facility infrastructure, and production operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a project manager ready to take on larger and more complex projects. The ideal candidate understands manufacturing systems, production flow, automation, and equipment integration and enjoys partnering with operations, maintenance, contractors, vendors, and executive leadership to deliver results. This role offers the opportunity to drive modernization initiatives, improve operational performance, and make a significant impact within a growing manufacturing environment.
WhatYou'll Do
- Lead capital projects from concept development and budgeting through installation, startup, and operational handoff.
- Manage a portfolio of manufacturing, automation, equipment, and facility improvement projects.
- Improve production flow, throughput, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate production systems to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate OEMs, contractors, engineering firms, and equipment vendors.
- Support automation and modernization initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Track project budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Serve as a technical resource for operations and manufacturing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience managing manufacturing capital projects.
- Proven success leading projects from concept through startup.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar project budgets.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, production flow, and equipment integrations.
- Ability to diagnose operational challenges and implement practical engineering solutions.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
The salary range for this position is typically $135,000 - $160,000 annually. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
