Sales Clerk - Gift Shop

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i's leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.

Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women's Center and the Women's Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

Our Gift Shop staff is committed to provide great guest service to the hospital community. Not only does our team maintain Kapi'olani's Gift Shop with necessities and gifts, they create gift baskets, make flower and gift deliveries, and offer promotions on special occasions. We hope to provide patients with a smile and remind them that their family is here to support them in their journey toward health and recovery.

If you have great customer service skills and would enjoy offering ideas for patients and their families who want to brighten someone's day with a gift, you could be our next Gift Shop Sales Clerk. Your responsibilities include conducting sales transactions in the Gift Shop, helping customers find what they are looking for, and helping to stock and organize merchandise. We are looking for someone friendly and engaging who enjoys sales and public relations and shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.
