CFO

Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our dynamic team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is ideal for a strategic and results-driven leader who can oversee financial planning, accounting practices, and risk management while driving operational efficiency and compliance. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's financial direction and empowering the Accounting, Treasury, and IT teams to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.

- Direct and manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.

- Oversee investment planning, asset management, and long-term financial initiatives.

- Ensure full compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct and manage both internal and external audit processes.

- Lead, mentor, and support the Accounting, Treasury, and IT departments.

- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and drive organizational growth.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, insurance providers, and key vendors.

- Promote a culture of ethical leadership, safety, and security across all business functions.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.

- A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial standards and federal/state regulations.

- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and solve problems effectively.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly platforms such as JD Edwards, and advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.

- Strong understanding of contracts and agreements.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
