The Investment Associate position at Spring Point Partners is a dynamic, growth-oriented role focused on supporting the organization’s impact and mission-aligned investment portfolios. The role places a particular emphasis on community wealth building and ownership investing as part of the Economic Justice strategy. It is designed for analytically curious professionals eager to deepen their impact investing experience while contributing to significant financial and social outcomes.
The role involves working closely with the investment team, reporting to the Director of Investments, and offers exposure to investment strategy, portfolio management, and cross-team collaboration within a values-driven environment. This full-time position involves a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days a week in the Philadelphia office and two days virtual work.
- Support investment analysis and portfolio monitoring, including dashboards, reporting, forecasts, and trend analysis.
- Assist with investment memos, presentations, and internal decision-making materials.
- Contribute to due diligence and research on prospective investments, including sector research and financial modeling.
- Help track and manage the investment pipeline and maintain accurate data across portfolio and CRM systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues across investments, data, and learning to support impact measurement and reporting.
- Participate in team meetings, learning sessions, and partner convenings, helping translate insights into action.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, documentation, and collaboration.
- 2+ years’ professional experience in investment management, consulting, financial analysis, or impact investing.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with a functional understanding of financial statements and portfolio analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to build models and prepare clear summaries and visuals.
- Eagerness for continuous learning and professional growth.

- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; a master’s degree (MBA/MPA) is preferred but not required.
