Japanese Bilingual Controller

Work style: Hybrid (once or twice per week at office)

Work Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Status: Full-time, Exempt

The company is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and finance operations. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, audits, internal controls, and supervising accounting staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and management experience in accounting or finance.

• Oversee daily accounting and finance operations
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Supervise and support accounting staff
• Manage company insurance policies and related documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA license is preferred to have
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 5 years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Leadership and team management experience
• Japanese bilingual skills strongly preferred
• Travel or tour industry experience is a plus
