Position Title
Auditor I and II
Department & LocationDepartment of Taxation, Downtown
SalaryAuditor I: $4,243 per month (SR‑16, Step
D)
Auditor II: $4,590 per month (SR‑18, Step
D)
- Perform professional auditing work to examine accounts and render an opinion on the financial position and operations of governmental agencies, individuals, and business entities.
- Level I:
Assist in auditing activities in a trainee capacity and perform other duties as required. - Level II:
Execute advanced assignments ranging from simple to moderately difficult, without the need for a fully trained auditor, and perform other duties as required.
- Legal Authorization to Work in the United States (citizen, national, permanent resident, or eligible under federal law).
- Basic
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with at least twelve semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects. - Specialized
Experience:
None for Level I; one year progressively responsible professional auditing experience for Level II. - Driver’s License:
Valid driver’s license required for the immediate vacancy. - Substitutions allowed as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements.
