Business Manager

* Shimmick is seeking a highly talented
** Business Manager
** to support ongoing project activity in Hawaii. This position will be responsible for accounting for the budgeted and actual cost of operations, processes, departments, and/or products and the analysis of variances and/or profitability.

** Responsibilities*
* The respnsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

+ Has advanced knowledge of project accounting, providing support for the most complex and/or large-scale projects.

+ Under general direction, makes recommendations for project improvement based on review of financial results and knowledge of project(s).

+ Researches general ledger account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and A/R cash adjustments.

+ Works with customers or clients to gather and provide information.

+ Reviews contracts for additional service opportunities and assist in converting project proposal into project budget.

** Qualifications*
* Minimum Requirements:

+ BA/BS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

+ Heavy civil project accounting experience.

Additional Information:

The salary range for this position is between **$85,000 - $110,000
** per year depending on experience and/or education.
