Job Description

First Hawaiian Bank currently has a great teller opportunity at our Makiki Branch that is robust with career growth and development opportunities.

The pay range for this role is $18.00 - $21.50/hr, commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives.

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM;
Saturday rotational 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (hours may vary).

As the face of First Hawaiian Bank in our branches, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services. You will have the opportunity to serve a diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors managing their wealth.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of experience in cash handling
• One year of experience in customer service
• Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g. retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking)
• Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator
• Possesses sales skills to enhance business development opportunities
