Description of PositionResponsible for assisting the Senior Financial Analyst and other members of the Accounting Department in the following areas: charge master maintenance and update;costing and procedural analysis; decision support installation and maintenance;financial analysis and analytical reviews; reimbursement project; contract management; preparation of the various cost reports; special projects and other miscellaneous assignments. Responsible for staying current on all federal,state, and other insurance/payor billing, reimbursement and reportingregulations.
Responsible for ensuring that the Health System is in compliance with all the federal, state, and other insurance/payor billing, reimbursement and reporting regulations while maximizing the reimbursement amount due to the Health System.
Baccalaureate'sdegree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university, with a major in accounting preferred; other majors may be considered if background and qualifications are conducive to performing job duties. Minimum of four (4) years of accounting related work experience required. Public Accounting firm and health care experience (i.e. general ledger, financial statementpreparation and review, financial analysis, and forecasts) preferred; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to meet the essential functions.
Starting Rate $74,180
