Mortgage Compliance & Quality Control Specialist

• Auditing mortgage loan files to measure performance against legal, regulatory compliance, credit underwriting, investor and internal bank policies

• Performing file reviews for both pre-funding and post-closing loans to ensure compliance with defined policies and procedures

• Maintaining a strong professional relationship with personnel in the loan originations and loan servicing departments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, related field, or equivalent experience
• With bachelor’s degree: 1 year of experience in underwriting mortgage loans, loan processing, and/or performing quality control underwriting.
• Without bachelor’s degree (or equivalent): 3 years of experience in underwriting mortgage loans, loan processing, and/or performing quality control underwriting.
• 2-3 years of experience in real estate lending, mortgage compliance, or mortgage banking
• One (1) year of experience in underwriting mortgage loans, loan processing, and/or performing quality control underwriting.
