Associate Financial Analyst; Hybrid

Associate Financial Analyst – Supports financial analysis, reporting, and communication of financial results across Eversource. The position is based in Berlin, CT or Westwood, MA.

• Supports the production of the Monthly Financial Information for ERP events.
• Assists in reviewing and validating financial information, collaborating with accounting to drive accurate results.
• Communicates financial results and issues to management.
• Coordinates large data volumes and develops financial exhibits for regulatory filings.
• Assists in preparing financial budgets and projections related to ERP events.
• Provides management with information to assess financial performance.
• Ensures monthly reports to departmental management cover mandate metrics such as budget vs. actual and year‑to‑year comparisons for decision making.
• Coordinates with Eversource departments on financial and business reporting requirements.
• Works collaboratively with others; delivers financial analysis and data‑driven problem solving.

• Familiarity with budgeting processes, financial reporting, analyses, and accounting statements.
• Emerging financial acumen and strong analytical propensities.
• Ability to work with various levels within the organization.
• Problem‑solving skills and competency analyzing large data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics or a related discipline.

1+ years of experience.

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $64,040.00 - $71,160.00 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with experience. Check the career site for an overview of benefits.
