Budget Analyst IV
Supporting the resources our Community relies on through responsible budgeting. The City and County of Honolulu (City) is seeking a detail-oriented Budget Analyst IV to support the development and coordination of departmental operating and capital budgets. This position plays a key role in helping City departments achieve their goals through budget analysis and program management.
What You Will Do:
- Review and analyze operating and capital improvement budget requests
- Evaluate supplemental appropriations, expenditure schedule, and fund transfers
- Conduct program and operational evaluations to support management decisions
- Review request for new programs, positions, reorganization, and equipment purchases
- Conduct studies on organizational structure, staffing, and work procedures
- Collaborate with department leadership on budgetary policies and management initiatives
