Salary Range: $19.00 To $24.42 Hourly
Position Function:
Specialists are responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency in department operations; reviews existing procedures, workflows, and systems for opportunities to optimize employee work efficiency. Scope of work will cover various loan types, including residential mortgage, consumer, and commercial. General responsibilities involve loan funding, paying of invoices, payment posting, general ledger reconciliation, exception posting, payment calculation, loan reconciling and various other functions as assigned.
Responsibilities also involve analysis, reports and related projects as directed by the manager/supervisor.

Primary Accountabilities:
- General Payments & Transactions functions which includes loan funding, paying of invoices, payment postings, general ledger reconciliations, exceptions postings and payment calculation and loan reconciling. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned including dealer reconciliation/funding, ACH returns, return items, stop payment processing, checking reconciliations. Analyze existing procedures and processes to identify opportunities for streamlining and automation and provide detailed recommendations to implement these opportunities.
- Research, respond and follow up on all inquiries received including by phone, email or mail.
- Monthly reporting of various GL to Controllers.
- Assist with special departmental, divisional or bank projects as necessary.
- Assists with the FISERV releases and application testing and updates as necessary.
- Image any and all documentation for work processed not limited to helping out other co-workers in the dept.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in Banking operation experience, including knowledge of bank products, services, and documentation required.
- 1+ years of experience in accounting, loan accounting, or consumer, commercial and/or residential mortgage loans (banking experience) preferred.
