Loan Originator

Lendwise Mortgage is expanding into Hawaii, and we are looking for a licensed Loan Originator who lives in the islands to build it with us.

Here is what makes this different from the last three recruiters who called you: we hand you the leads, we staff the file behind you, and we built our technology instead of renting someone else’s. You originate. Everything else has a person or a system attached to it.

This is a ground-floor seat in a new market. The originator who takes it will help shape how Lendwise runs in Hawaii, and there is a branch leadership track attached for the right person.

Commission-only and uncapped. Producing originators in this seat can earn $150,000 to $500,000 or more annually.

Compensation is commission-based and uncapped. The range above reflects what producing originators in this role can earn and is not a guarantee of income.

Leads. We generate them and route them to you. You are not buying lists, not cold-calling out of a stale database, and not spending your own marketing dollars to fill your pipeline.

A full support staff. Dedicated processing, an underwriting liaison, and closing support. Your job is talking to clients and structuring loans. Chasing conditions is somebody else’s job.

Every product you need to place the loan. Conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, non-QM, DSCR, bank statement, and expanded-guideline programs. You should rarely have to tell a borrower no.

Technology. An in-house origination platform with automated pre-approval letters, a borrower document portal your clients will actually use, and a refinance-opportunity engine that continuously watches your closed book and tells you which past clients are worth a call today. Most originators lose their database. Ours works it for them.

Marketing support. We have inhouse marketing support for social media, blogs, SEO, or anything else you need.

A growing footprint. We are expanding, Hawaii is the next market, and the originators who come in early get the referral relationships and the leadership opportunities that come with being first.

Client Consultation — Interview clients to understand their goals, explain loan terms, and walk them through the differences between products.

Application Management — Gather, review, and submit complete loan applications and supporting financial documentation to underwriting.

Financial Assessment — Analyze borrower credit, income, assets, and overall financial position to determine loan viability and structure.

Compliance — Ensure every activity and document adheres to company policy, investor guidelines, and federal and Hawaii lending regulations.

Relationship Building — Develop and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and referral partners across the islands.

Market Awareness — Stay current on rates, products, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting Hawaii borrowers.

Problem Resolution — Own customer inquiries and resolve loan issues quickly and directly.

Active Hawaii Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing, with an NMLS record we can sponsor.

Residence in the State of Hawaii. This role is not open to out-of-state applicants.

Willingness to have your licensed office location designated as our Hawaii place of business, open to the public during posted business hours. Hawaii requires this address to be publicly registered.

Demonstrated experience in mortgage origination, lending, banking, sales, or customer service.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
