Relationship Manager Private Banking; Oahu

Position: Relationship Manager Private Banking (Oahu)
Under the direction of the manager, this position is responsible for developing, managing, and retaining comprehensive relationships with clients meeting the net worth, income and profitability profiles of the Private Banking Group. Provides advice, counsel, and high level customer service to build deeper client relationships through the sale and administration of credit, deposit, and investment agency products and services and in a manner that ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.

In addition, this position is responsible for conducting sales and relationship management activities utilizing the Excellence in Sales/Service (ESS) disciplines and behaviors.

A credit report mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act to ensure demonstrated financial responsibility. The report is to be obtained and accepted no later than 30 days from employment or transfer date. If not accepted, employment may be terminated.

Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry. If not yet registered, registration to be completed and accepted no later than 30 days from employment or transfer date. If not registered and accepted, employment may be terminated.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited l institution or equivalent work experience.

Level is dependent on years of experience and size/complexity of prior positions held.  Must have 3-4 years of Commercial lending/Private Banking lending experience and 3-4 years of client portfolio management experience.

Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.

Well developed analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills. Must have the ability to express complex ideas in concise and simple terms. Able to make critical decisions independently. Possesses strong networking and business development skills. Has solid product knowledge and business acumen. Able to build strong working relationships and partnerships across the organization with a collaborative and consultative approach.

Is a team player. Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned. Must be able to provide own transportation or to operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license and commute as required.
