Duties SummaryPerforms the full range of clerical pre‑auditing work in a large department involving vouchering claims and/or payroll claims, regulations, rules, policies and procedures; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements- Legal Authorization To Work:
The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. - Specialized
Experience:
Two (2) years of responsible clerical work experience in the preparation and processing of payroll documents/forms and/or in the preparation and processing of vouchers, invoices and statements. Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of arithmetic and required the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicate orally and in writing; and make arithmetic computations. - Federal Criminal History Records Check:
Persons considered for employment in positions requiring unescorted access to secured areas must undergo a fingerprint‑based criminal history record check. Convictions within the last 10 years will disqualify a candidate. The cost for the check is the applicant’s responsibility. - Substitutions Allowed:
