Mission Assurance Planner

As a Mission Assurance Planner, you’ll bring your leadership, subject matter expertise, planning, and consulting expertise to work alongside thought leaders in the Indo‑Pacific Area of Responsibility on projects including Homeland Defense, contingency planning, and critical infrastructure.
You’ll use your skills and expertise to facilitate Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), bureaus, boards, cells, conferences, and working groups and respond to the creation of Requests for Information (RFI). You will contribute to the analysis and evaluation of policy, processes, and systems related to client requirements. You will support related initiatives and requirements, including institutional and operational level security cooperation capacity building events, organizational assessment, and input into higher headquarters efforts.
You will contribute to the synchronization of efforts in a matrix organization with multiple functional areas and provide written reports and briefs for senior military audiences.

Qualifications- 4+ years of experience with the Military Decision‑Making Process (MDMP) or Joint Planning Process
- 4+ years of experience with operational planning at the Corps, Theater, Combatant Command, or Joint level Staff level
- Experience with the challenges specific to the INDOPACOM AOR
- Knowledge of US Army Protection Warfighting Function and Homeland Defense Planning
- Ability to take a planning effort from the concept phase to development and orders or production and implementation
- Ability to deliver verbal and written presentations to executive level leadership
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
- Bachelor's degree or 12+ years of experience with Mission Assurance within DOD and the associated DOD Mission Assurance Benchmarks, or 4+ years of Mission Assurance experience within DOD and the associated DOD Mission Assurance Benchmarks in lieu of a degree
- Top Secret clearance
- Experience working individually and as part of a team to develop collaborative solutions to shared problems
- Knowledge of Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program, Strategic Mission Assurance Data System, and Enterprise Protection Risk Management
- Ability to facilitate working groups and meetings with various organizations
- Anti‑terrorism Officer Level II Certification
- Completion of Military Education Level 4 Qualification Course or equivalent
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required.
CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
