Salary: $6,043 to $7,351 per month (SR-24, Step D to I)

Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Shift Work: Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.

• Plans and supervises the operation of a large public library.
• Supervises and participates in the selection, development and maintenance of a collection of materials in one or more broad and complex subject area(s).
• Develops, plans, coordinates, and evaluates a major area of library services (i.e., children/young adult services) on a statewide basis.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Legal authorization to work: U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident alien, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
• Professional librarian experience: 3½ years of progressively responsible professional experience in one or more major functional areas of librarianship.
• At least one year of experience comparable to Librarian IV in the state service.
