SalaryAuditor II: $4,590 per month (SR-18, Step
D)
Professional auditing work covered by examining accounts for the purpose of rendering an opinion regarding the financial position and operations of governmental agencies, individuals and business entities being examined.
Position LevelLevel II. Advanced trainee, performs a variety of assignments ranging from simple to moderately difficult that do not require the services of a fully trained auditor. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications- Legal Authorization to work:
State of Hawaii requires all persons to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. - Basic
Education:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with at least 12 semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects. - Specialized
Experience:
For Level II, one (1) year of progressively responsible professional auditing experience requiring knowledge of generally accepted professional accounting and auditing principles, standards, theory and practices for the purpose of analyzing and interpreting accounting books, records, or systems. - Driver’s License:
Some positions require possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment. - Substitutions Allowed:
