Position Overview

Immediate vacancy with the Department of Taxation in Downtown. Recruitment Number: OHHI-26036.

• Auditor Level III: performs moderately difficult professional auditing work, examines smaller agencies or business entities, audits primarily one aspect of fiscal work, assists higher-level auditors, performs other duties as assigned.
• Auditor Level IV: performs difficult professional auditing work, independently conducts field audits of governmental books, may supervise a small group of lower-level auditors as a project leader on less complex cases, performs other related duties.

• Legal Authorization to Work: citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the U.S., or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
• Basic
  
  Education:
  
  bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with at least twelve semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects.
• Specialized
  
  Experience:
  
  two (2) years for Level III, three (3) years for Level IV progressively responsible professional auditing experience.
• Driver's License: a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment (some vacancies require).
• Substitutions: relevant substitutions apply as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements.

Level III: $4,961 to $6,043 per month (SR‑20, Step D to I).

Level IV: $5,369 to $6,535 per month (SR‑22, Step D to I).
