Immediate vacancy with the Department of Health located in Downtown.
Salary: $5,107 to $6,221 per month (SR 20, Step D to I).
Provides assistance in determining and promoting the needs of children and youth by planning, developing, and conducting research; serves as liaison and technical resource person for assigned areas of responsibility; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Legal authorization to work:
The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. - Basic
Education:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. - General
Experience:
One and one-half year of progressively responsible professional analytical work experience demonstrating the ability to analyze programs, budgets, services, facilities, manpower requirements, operations or organizations to determine their effectiveness, achievement of program objectives, cost factors, and to participate in planning for future needs or for related management purposes. - At least six (6) months of experience in human service organizations (including those providing services to children and youth, age 0 to 24 years) and familiarity with the characteristics of children and youth and their development; this experience may have been gained concurrently with the general experience or while serving in another position, either on a paid or volunteer basis and may have been either full-time or part-time.
