Position: ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST III - OAHU (OHHI)

Salary: $4,961 to $6,043 per month (SR-20, Step D to I)

Responsibilities

Level III Administrative Specialist assists a higher‑level Specialist or Officer in overseeing the administrative aspects of a program and organization. Duties include managing operational details; providing guidance and advice to component units; overseeing conformance to administrative plans, policies and procedures; and serving as liaison between the program and other offices and agencies; performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States (citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the U.S. or eligible under federal law).
  • Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • One and one‑half years of business administration, public administration, or other responsible professional experience requiring analytical skill (e.g., operation management, business analyst, budget/fiscal analyst) and involving evaluation and improvement of managerial policies, systems, work methods and practices.
  • Valid driver’s license (some positions require possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment).
  • Ability to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation.
