The Opportunity: As a Security Cooperation Planner, you will apply your specialized regional and subject‑matter expertise to support the strategic planning, logistical coordination, and execution of international engagements that advance theater security cooperation and space posture in the Indo‑Pacific region. Your role will involve end‑to‑end planning of country engagements, symposiums, bilateral talks, and multilateral conferences, ensuring all administrative, venue, and protocol requirements are synchronized and aligned with partner nation schedules and departmental priorities.

• Facilitate the planning of international engagements, including diplomacy, training, and support activities.

• Coordinate venue, protocol, and administrative requirements for events.
• Develop engagement strategies, briefing materials, and talking points for senior leadership.
• Align events with partner nation schedules and U.S. military priorities to ensure mission success.
• Leverage AI tools to optimize data organization, capture insights, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

• 5+ years of experience with Joint or Service‑level planning on a general officer or flag officer staff
• 3+ years of experience leading international engagement planning and developing strategic and operational products
• Knowledge of theater security cooperation and its connection to theater‑strategic steady‑state, crisis, and contingency planning
• Professional interface with U.S. and international senior military and civilian leadership
• Clear, concise communication skills in person and in writing
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience in the Indo‑Pacific region, including as a country desk officer
• Familiarity with space systems, capabilities, and processes
• Experience with AI‑enabled operational planning tools such as Palantir Maven Smart Systems (MSS) or other mission command platforms
• Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process (JPP), including campaign planning, operational design, and strategic planning efforts
• Master’s degree

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and obtain TS/SCI clearance to access classified information.

Competitive salary ranging from $86,900 to $198,000 (annualized USD). The total compensation package includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
