Job SummaryThe Comprehensive Health Planning Coordinator assists with comprehensive health planning activities by coordinating work between counties, committees, and councils related to various health services; provides staff services to committees, task forces, and councils; and performs other related duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesThis class involves responsibilities for assisting in the development, promotion, and coordination of the State's Comprehensive Health Plan, performed in accordance with the guidelines, policies, and procedures of the Comprehensive Health Planning Office.
Qualifications- Legal Authorization to Work – Citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
- Basic Education/Experience – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- General Experience – Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical, analytical, or comparable work experience demonstrating the ability to plan and coordinate activities, projects, or programs.
- Specialized Experience – Two (2) years of progressively responsible professional or technical liaison work experience, including planning, organizing, promoting, and coordinating program activities of health service–oriented agencies and/or interdisciplinary groups providing health or health‑related services to the community.
