Natural Resources Management Specialist Security Clearance

Position: NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will prepare and present briefs to senior-level officials in federal, state and local government as well as the public, on a routine basis.
* You will provide natural resources management consultation services, professional guidance and general assistance.
* You will determine whether work should be performed inhouse or contracted and ensure contractor schedules are integrated with program requirements.
* You will manage complex contracts for natural resources management.
* You will serve as the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) on contract to ensure preparation of technically adequate, timely and cost-effective planning products. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This is a bargaining unit position. Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector preparing, designing and coordinating plans for the management, preservation, and protection of the zoological and biological resources, sensitive habitats, and rare or protected species.

* Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR

Work is primarily sedentary, dealing with office work and attending meetings with other personnel at this command, 'with personnel at other commands and other agencies and organizations. Field work requires carrying light to moderately heavy equipment and standing and walking for long periods including bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities.
