Intelligence Specialist; Operations

Duties

Plans, coordinates, and executes intelligence collection assignments.

Solves complex collection problems and requests for information by interpreting regulations as well as developing policies for alternative solutions to unusual circumstances not covered by standard requirements

Evaluates operational strategies and exercises authority to recommend and develop changes to operational procedures and priorities

Develops and implements methods to ensure optimal HUMINT program effectiveness

Serves as an authoritative source of information and expertise as a HUMINT Intelligence Collector

Remain abreast of current events; foreign, defense, and any policy, military and national security issues which have an impact on targets and regions of interest

Coordinate with all applicable government agencies in support of all assigned collection operations
